let's say your in the middle of the stateside highway and the temp suddenly point to hot do you just put some water in (assumin' you got a water bottle or two), or you can pee in the coolant tank?

i would say pull over and pop the hood. just be careful. look at your coolant reservoir and see if there is enough coolant. if there isn't, and you're stuck in the middle of nowhere, i would put water or **** in it if need be. just be careful of your pecker (or ***) depending on sex -- might get toasted. if there is enough coolant, probably your thermostat is shot.

happened to me in chicago. i was driving towards mccormick place when i saw the needle just skyrocket. pulled over, popped the hood and looked at the reservoir -- looked ok. then i noticed my upper radiator hose. damn thing was honking!! looked like the size of a football. thermostat needed to be changed.
