Someone hit high 11's (I believe Lancer Gris Tourer (sp?) from PR as well) if I remember correctly. He also blew his motor. Again, way too many variables.

Torque steer is a result of loss of grip. Another factor that's virtually impossible to predict, thus reinforcing my "too many variables" statement.

If you want I could prolly put a little money on it. I don't think I'll be hitting a track till spring though. I was just thinkin' of it as something to have a little fun with.

I guess what I’m curious about is I read the boards all the time and see people who have posted about all the mods they have done but there is no consistency to almost anything posted on here in terms of bang for your buck.

I guess let me just list all the mods I'm considering and I'll let you guys give me advice for what I should do.

RRM Aluminum Flywheel-4G94
Price: 489$ + install labor
Understanding: "Cuts 7 lbs off the stock one for improved throttle response."

RRM Intercooled Turbo Kit For Automatic Transmission Stage 2
Price: 4199$ + cost of upgrade for Stage2 + install labor
Understanding: "Capable of 200+ W.H.P." Stage2 Dyno shows 227 w.h.p.

Lancer Magnacore Wires
Price: 89$ + install labor
Understanding: "These wires will increase performance of any engine making for efficient spark and thus a better fuel burn."

GReddy "Evolution" Series Catback Exhaust- VERSION 2
Price: 499$ + install labor
Understanding: Allows better flow of exhaust for more power.

Road Race Lancer Forged Pistons
Price: 699$ + install labor
Understanding: "developed to strengthen the weakest link in the Lancer 4G94 engine and also lighter than stock pistons."

RRM PAUTER RODS
Price: 799$ + install labor
Understanding: Stronger rods to handle the increase in wear from a turbo.

ROAD/RACE PIGGY BACK ECU - AUTOMATIC
Price: 499$ + install labor
Understanding: "maximizes the fuel curves to better take advantage of basic mods like intake, header and exhaust."

Road Race Lancer Bored Throttle Body
Price: 289$ + install labor
Understanding: "increases air flow significantly into your engine for better performance."

Road Race Front LSD
Price: 899$ + install labor
Understanding: added traction

AEM Cold Air Induction Kit
Price: 229$ + install labor
Understanding: Increases power from the flow of cold air making its way to your engine.

Can these be done on an automatic?
Road Race STAGE 2- 2200lbs. Clutch and Pressure Plate (US Lancer)
ROAD///RACE Ported & Powder Coated Intake Manifold

Have i missed any mods that i should be thinking about doing?

Thanks,
mechtn
