Question Turbo ES ???

I currently have a 2003 ES and I am wondering if I could put a turbo package in it? Rough estimate of how much this would cost and is it worth it?

Thanks

well... if you used the search feature you could have answered your own question. Yes you can turbo it. Is it worth it? I dunno, how much do you want to go fast? How much will it cost? Well, if you buy a kit from Road Race it will cost 3000 - 4100 (depending on kit) + install.

Please use the search feature

you can turbo any of the lancer's. www.roadracemotorsports.com they have a turbokit but theres runs from 4k up. www.visionimports.com has rpw turbo's, those run for a bit less. Then u can do a search for lancer turbo kits and there is a few sites that has some. They use the garret turbo's too. the cheapest i saw was around 2k for a non intercooled, then went up to 3k for a complete kit.

weatehr ur auto or 5speed, your gains will vary. auto will be a bit less than 5 speed, no matter what stage or package u use. Also depending on your other mods like; Intake, exhaust sys. header, cam, ecu, internals, p&p, fpr blah blah.

If u do go turbo, make sure u know how to tune, or u know someone who can tune because thats a good way to blow the ol' engine. Just do some searchin round here and ask a few questions and you'll be able to figure out everything u need.
