Fuel pump?
I have a Walbro 255 lph fuel pump that I got when I was thinking of doing turbo. Right now, I'm leaning towards N/A.
I have:
Boe fuel rail
RRM axleback
Coming:
AEM CAI
RRM header
Buschur downpipe
Buschur high flow cat
Is it worth install? Can the injectors pump more than now? Will the ECU accept more fuel in the mixture and accomodate?

i don't see how it will make a difference. the fuel pressure regulator is going to do it's job at limiting fuel pressure at the rail. it might help fuel delivery at the top end where the stock pump might be sputtering out, but don't think so.
you can always raise fuel pressure, but you can't force more air into a N/A.

It might end up actually hurting your car.
I'm not familiar with how great of a FPR is on the Lancer OZ, but it's possible to over run any FPR. So if you upgrade your fuel pump you can cause your car to be running extremely rich.
It would be best to not upgrade it until you actually need the additional fuel flow.

So even if I add (for example) the RRM IM and TB, the fuel pump wouldn't help? I know I've seen some N/A cars with upgraded fuel pumps, so I assumed that it could just help things out as I mod more. Better engine breathing, more fuel helps. Is that wrong?

Since the lancer is much easier to swap FP than any 5g mirage, it's worth the effort. One thing, you will overrun your injectors. 255 FP is huge for NA application. At WOT, it'll be hell to tune.
A stock 2g GSX FP (under 190) overran my past 210cc injectors at WOT. The 240cc tolerated it a bit, but it needed to be tuned.

bahamut, what do you mean by your FP overran your injectors?
blacksheepdj, don't think those mods will warrant a new FP. with the increase of vacuum, your fpr should be able to compensate. i believe mitsiman(from rpw) said the stock pump should be able to provide enough fuel pressure for some odd 210 hp. that's with a fpr and injector upgrade tho. i personally wouldn't try a setup like that without knowing a bit more, but he's a professional and so he does have credentials. his post is near the bottom.

Understood. I'll leave the Walbro on the shelf for now. I'm only around 93 hp now, so I have a ways to go...
Rhyzin - What type of mods would necessitate a pump upgrade? What made you decide to upgrade yours?

I use the pump upgrade with the adjustable fpr, safc, and MAS upgrade. right now i'm running 54psi idle fuel pressure (for 3 months now). i have it this high so i don't have to run crazy correction on the safc. my HI settings corrections on my safc are from -27% -> +6%. my LO settings are +33% all across. i just found out(3 months ago) that the fuel gauge on my fpr was wrong and was 10 psi lower than actual. so for maybe a year and a half i was running 34 psi base idle pressure when stock is 38! before, my correction on LO were as high as +44%! (the safc can only provide +/-50%) yeah, i'm a retard.
anyhow, since fuel delivery is governed pretty well by the ecu, i had to mechanically adjust fuel. if RRM hadn't found a way to mechanically adjust for fuel, their turbo kits would be at least $600-700 more than they are now for stage 1.
