SES fix?

I've heard from a friend that a few spark plug spacers added to the O2 sensor would eliminate the SES light (because the sensor would now be away from the foul air and in clean air).

Anyone tried it? Any thoughts?

you shouldnt have to worry about that for a couple of years. my buddy has a 98 ford, and he just got his first e-check notice. well...... unless laws are being changed.

Rhyzin - oops. Yeah, that would be the idea. My bad for insufficient searching.

.L. - uh, in Ohio it's every 2 years. So before I can get my new plates, I need to pass emissions. But there's talk that Ohio is going to drop E-check soon. Which would be nice, because we're still smoggy. Maybe they should E-check the buses belching out black smoke...
