I don't know a lot about cars either, but I just ordered a Buschur Exhaust system and plan on installing myself (with my dad's help). You can get it installed at a shop if you don't trust yoursefl doing it. Or I'm sure if you do a searc hon "how to install an exhaust" online, you could probably find some instructions. After I install mine, I will try to tell you how I did it, but you're probably better off asking someone that is more knowledgeable. I have heard that it is not very hard. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

1)get a wrench
2)take off bolts that hold muffler
3)take off rubber with lube
do opposite in installing muffler
(this is assuming the muffler has the mounts and pipping installed in em and assuming you already have the wrench so ommit 1 when installing.)

I would go with the Magnaflow catback exhaust system. You will love the way it sounds; deep, not too loud, very clean sounding - not like a ricer honda with a flowmaster. You can do one of two things. You can order the whole catback online which is just a striaght bolt on to your stock cat and you can find it on ebay for under $300. I opted for idea number two, which was going to a local muffler shop and I had a custom catback system installed. I had a magnaflow muffler installed, double walled polished stainless tip (4") and 2.5" piping back from cat to muffler. After I installed my RRM header, I added a magnaflow glasspack (resonator) to help quiet my exhaust. OVerall, I love my exhaust and I am always getting complimented on how nice it sounds.

Edit: My system cost total after glass pack $380. All magnaflow parts have lifetime warranties.

I installed the Buschur 2.5" catback exhaust system a few eeks ago and I love it! I got the magnaflow muffler option because I didn't want it to be too loud. It is perfect, low growl, but not loud and obnoxious. I am really happy with my exhaust and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice deep, but not loud sound.

Install was easy once I got the stock exhaust pipe off. But getting it off took me forever! The bolts were rusted and wouldn't bidge. So, I was forced to drill through them. It took me a long time to get the stock exhaust pipe off and it cost me about $75 in cobalt drill bits (the ones I had wore out solely from being used to drill the bolts and they had to be replaced). Honestly, I enjoyed installing it myself because I am fairly new to cars and doing installs myself helps me to leanr more. But, if you don't want to put a lot of time and effort, the cost for me would have ended upi being about the same either way. So, if you don't want the hassle and only plan n installing it yourself ot save money, then just pay a shop to put it in. It will save you a lot of trouble, you'll just miss out on having the experience. It's up to you and it also depends where you live, that will affect how rusted the botls are. Anyway, I hope you order your exhaust soon and have fun installing it, if you choose to do it yourself.
