Buschur downpipe compatible with RRM header?

Rock or anybody else know if the Buschar downpipe is compatible with the RRM header?

Is Roadrace planning on a downpipe?

My thinking is yes, but the best thing to do would be to get one and then the other. If whichever you get matches up to stock positioning then both should fit. Sounds logical enough, right?

RRM is plannin on a downpipe, but, I do not know about the compatibility between RRM and buschur. My assumption would be YES that it is compatible. However, you probably would not get the gains that are desired by having matching parts.

BUT.. thats why its an ***-u-m[e]-ption... heheheh

I don't think the rrm headers are compatible with the br downpipe because the br downpipe has an increased pipe diameter of 2.5

But it also mates to the stock manifold so figure that.

RRM mates to stock downpipe so...logic would dictate they'd bolt right up. Make sense to anyone else?

sounds good to me. I wasn't positive. I'd still wait for rrm to make a downpipe anyway, or at least br to make matching headers.

What would be the benefit of a 2.5" system when it has a bunch of 2.25" flanges to go though?

A water hose with a big fat spot in the middle will not squirt more water ....(over simplification I know but...)

You've still got a cat after the downpipe anyway. There's the real bottleneck.

Unless you plan on running an open exhaust it should still be pretty beneficial.

I think br puts out the downpipe, highflow cat, testpipe, and catback exhaust all at 2.5" so its not so bad if you go with br all the way. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but 2.5 isn't too much if your going turbo, but imo 2.25 is just finefor any application.

Their and IT's dyno results showed gains in HP and TQ across the board (albeit small ones). Assuming they fit with RMR or RRM headers (which I personally think they will without any problems) it should jump a couple horses at the wheels as well (if not slightly more).

RRM or RPW?

Both work fine for me.

The parts will bolt on fine since all they are doing is replacement of the stock parts themselves. As for Buschur putting out a header, you better convince a hell of a lot of people to buy their other parts since last I heard, they will be dropping Lancer products due to lack of interest.
