I need to know how to set the timing.

 

Ignition timing, cam timing, etc...you MIGHT wanna tell us which.

Like what, you want to set base timing, check base timing or change the base timing? Timing gun would be necessary first..there's a thread all about it. Just need to find it. Changing the timing is pretty tricky without an adjustable vernier (cam) gear.
