2 vs 2.25 vs 2.5 exaust

Ok, right now I have about $0 for parts and such but some time between now and Christmas I should have the money to start ordering.

First thing I was planning on doing was putting on a catback exaust. I was looking at the buschur but after some reading it seems I should go with smaller piping since I am going the n/a way. Am I correct so far?

The next question is what are some companies that sell a 2-2.25 catback?

with the way its lookin I am gonna do catback then headers then highflow cat. all goin in about a month apart.

Also with intake are there any upgrades that need to be done besides filter?

even if you do decide to do a mild turbo, 2.25 is good. so to answer your question, yes if you're staying n/a you're correct. i'm not 100% sure if they fit the 04 but greddy, magnaflow, and dc sports make a 2.25 catback for the lancer. you might want to check those systems out. catback, header, then highflow cat is a good start. about the intake, you can always buy a complete intake system for your car. that way, you'll replace the filter and stock pipping with the new intake system.

while reading old posts I saw several mentions that the bonuses highflow cat on a n/a lancer is almost unnoticable if worthwhile at all. Anyone had any more experience with this area? or am I completely off?
