lightend fly-wheel

does anyone know if there is a lightend fly-wheel for the lancer yet

im pretty sure there isnt one, yet. some people have been dropping hints that one for the 1.9 (i think) L mirage would work on a lancer, but no one has been brave enough to give it a try..

The weight of the flywheel is the same as teh origonal. Correct because the origonal flywheel if you look at it has a tin plate in the centre and then metal on the outside. This makes it very hard to make a custom flywheel lighter than the origonal. The problem with the origonal is that it cannot withstand high torque loads on a permanent basis IE turbo and will not handle exotic clutches on there material.

pjal is right there are no lightweight flywhells available yet , the RPW is just the same except for it being stronger and can handle lots of power and also exotic clutch kits
