Yeah, for the record I scrapped the e-manage idea. And thanks for the post, wing, but it wasn't quite what I needed. That was for a MIVEC engine according to the .pdf.

<Breaks out shovel to dig up this thread>

So what's the rotary settings for the 4G94? I've got my e-manage sitting here and I'm gonna attempt install myself just to see if I have the wiring correct. I need those damn rotary settings though. Kontra...

P.S. Andrew, do you regret moving to EMS instead of E-manage?

You evil, evil, bastid ~_~ (EMS that is!)

No. Not for a second. Despite all the problems, with all the tuning points and options available to me I don't regret it for a second. The cost of e-manage with MAP sensor upgrades and additional injectors (the way I was going to do it) is very similar to the EMS, but with far less capability. Not to say the e-manage isn't useful or is too expensive, but the way I was going to have it it definitely made more sense to use the EMS. Plus I think I'm the only person out there actually running it in his Lancer at present.

Son of a *****, I am now in the same boat as you Andrew. I've got an engine management unit that is not functioning correctly.

I've been up all friggin night playing with the damn ecu, and all I've managed to do is get the car back to a pre-install state, plus a few spliced wires.

I can't get the air intake reading to pick up correctly for some stupid reason. Everything else is wired just fine, but the car slowly idles to it's death without the intake reading getting, well, read.

SON OF A *****!!!!!

That, and I haven't the slightest clue as to what rotary settings I should be using. From what I've been told by the folks at Yahoo!, the Lancer settings should be the same as the Eclipse settings (3-8-A). I'm desperately waiting for Chris to get back to me so I can at least have that lined up. As far as my connectivity problem, I have no idea what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna sleep on it. Gotta be at work at 1, and I haven't slept but 5 hours since yesterday morning.

What's the connectivity problem?

Are you sure all your taps are correct? I dunno what else to ask right now.
