How much is the Core charge for the RRM throttle body? Also I thought I read in another thread that you have to send them your old throttle body or something? Is this right or did I misread something?

Why don't you just call them up and ask them? There should be no fear, it's like ordering a pizza. But for the answering of your questions. You do have to send your old TB in... then they give you back your core exhcange money after they recieve your TB. How much do you pay? Well I suppose this is where you pick up the phone and call... I'll even give you a script:

You: Hey
RRM: Yo
You: I need to know how much you have to pay for the TB for the Lancer.
RRM: Hmmm... $$ Something.
You: Word?
RRM: No doubt.
You: Peace
RRM: I'm out.

its a 150 dollar core charge... and it is refunded when you return your old TB to us in good condition. If you take too long, we will charge u for it.

 

So basically....

1. I order TB + I get a core charge
2. You send it out to me
3. I install new TB
4. I send you my stock TB
5. You receive my TB then you credit my account

its money that they hold from you incase you fail to give the stock part back to them.

Think of it as a mail-in rebate.

You buy the TB at 439$ + S&H. Upon reception, you send them your old TB for a 150$ mail-in rebate.
