Are these grounds model, make specific, output specific etc or are they just general grounds? I've read how good grounds can free up a bit of oomph, but I've never done too much research on them.

Interesting. Thanks. Time for me to do some more reading. SCC had also recently done grounds on another car (I believe the Aerio they were tuning) and the gains were even present (though far smaller).

two of our spark plugs happen to have a box built into the sparkplug. those two boxes are our coil packs. no replacements. otherwise whoever was gonna make them are going to have to pay royalties to mitsubishi for reengineering their design.

would this ground system have to hook to the coil packs. or was hardcore just wanting to know what they were.

i was actually doing a lil research on these because i saw em in a mag. im gonna get some do to the fact that its cheap and i could gain a lil power. i think they jsut replace any ground wire in the engine that you want em to.

i think he just wanted to know what they were. i don't think you have to directly connect them to the coilpacks. many of the cars electrical systems ground themselves onto different ground points within the engine bay. some systems ground to the block, the battery negative, or somewhere onto the car's frame. i'd rather believe this hyperground system relieves those points so the load on the electrical systems is less due to less resistance. it's definately going in my car soon. cheap side-effectless hp!

Let us know how they turn out. I've seen this in a subaru, but I think it was only one wire from the batttery to the chassis, and it didn't really do much in the way of extra power. I think you could probably do this yourself and put the $100 towards other mods. Just a thought, but keep us updated.

although redbeard is probably right, i think i'm gonna give them a shot. sounds like they might just be a good idea for the car's life in general, but we'll see.

Someone tell me, Whats the difference between the "Gold & Silver" and the "Red & Yellow & Blue" on the site, the difference between the Gold and silver Vs. the Yellow red and blue is $20...

Does that mean Gold and Silver are better performance?

I think its just a coloring preference, what does everyone else think?

i was looking at that as well. i think if there was an actual performance difference, they would mention it. i think the extra cost is just for the color.

I think the wire housing is just more expensive, hence the cost difference. Notice those two are the metallics?

As for the coil pack thing, these are not spark plug wires. They're grounds. And as for gains, epect them to show up on the dyno, don't expect them to show up on your 1/4mi time.
