Arrow Installing stage 2, need some help

Hey guys, nobody knows the answer to this so hopefully you can help me.

I already installed the piggyback, wastegate spring, took off mas restrictor, etc, but all i have left is making the injectors sit in the fuel rail.

the instructions say to hold the fuel rail as far back as possible when tightening the 2 mounting bolts. i did that, but when i do there is about a 1/4in gap between the rail and the injector.

the idle isnt jumping and the vacuum is at a stable 18-19inches and if i spray brakleen on it, it doesnt jump.

anyways, my question is

1. are the injectors supposed to hiss pretty loud
2. is there supposed to be a gap
3. my idle is at like 1400 before turning it down, normal?

thanks for your help. ive read through the instructions like 20 times, but still cant get it.

Heres a pic of what i mean. also, it came with these extra things and i have no idea what they are for. those 3 rings are metal and silver and the blue on is rubber.

the 3 rings are trash... they're for something different not applicable to your car. The injectors are not in the rail fully... you need to push them in all the way. Right now you have them out to far. The rail should go all the way to the shoulder of the injector just like the stocker ones do.

The higher rpms is due to the vacuum leak... even though the gauge is showing that there is good vacuum its a slight leak so the idle is excessively high.

put the injectors in all the way... set everything in place and put the bolts in. Then just tighten them down as it sits. That should work out. Take some pics that are a little further away and some from the top so i can get a better perspective of what's going on.

ok i put the injectors in as far as they go. what i did was take it all out and do it over making sure everything is perfect. the car runs great now except when i spray the #1 injector with brakleen itll die a little for a second. the seal looks perfect thoigh so i dunno what it is. im gonna go take it for a quick drive though

alright it runs decent, but the #2 injector is slightlyleaking and the #1 is leaking a little more. my guess is that the left side of the rail isnt at the right angle so ill try pushing or pulling it until it stops leaking

btw, the turbo sounds awesome now. its just insane

Also if you have a lot of miles on your car you may want to replace the lower seals on the injectors(the black ones you took from the stockers.)

I've seen 2 guys have issues with them due to age/hardness. After putting new ones on everything was fine.

it looks like the car is running pretty good now. idle is at 1,000, but ill lower it after the piggyback is done learning. the injectors are doing good, except i think theres a really small leak on the 1st injector. ill figure it out later though. thanks for the help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No problem... seriously fix the leaks before you get onto the car or adjust the idle at all. The leak will affect the tune and cause issues. Once you have them fixed reset the ecu and do the learning process. Once that's done adjust the idle if necessary per the instructions provided.

eh, i would if i could get this thing to work. it was working, but after shutting the car off and turning it on again after a few hours, i have the same problem where my idle and vacuum fluctuates rapidly. i dont know if i should try to fix it again because everytime i do i have this same problem.

i guess im just bad at troubleshooting stuff like this
