another spark plug/engine problem

Ok, hopefully nothing is seriously wrong but here it goes.

A while ago I realized durr i put a turbo on my car so i have to change the heat range of my spark plugs. I got 1 heat range colder. My stock plugs were really burnt (i have a pic of one of them). Ok so now I have 1 heat range colder plugs in my car.

The problem with my car is(just recently started happening) that as i'm driving, not under boost just normal crusing, my engine would seem to turn off for 1 or 2 seconds then turn back on. Its kinda like a bogging out feeling. I'll give it gas when it does this and it just slows down. then all of a sudden kicks back in and moves again. it would do this over and over.

My first thoughts were oh ****....here goes my engine. but my idle is fine and under boost i still get awesome power so if my engine was really going to blow or whatever wouldn't it not idle good and not give me great power?

My real question is can burnt out spark plugs ( because i really think i need another heat range colder plug...a 7 instead of a 6..) prevent the spark plug from igniting the fuel causing this loss of power??

here are the pics of my spark plugs i just took out of my car...one heat range colder then stock. Denso K20PR-U11

remember...this is only after 6,000 miles. i believe these can be considered burnt...the tips are grey and they jus look like ****. so do you think it was the plugs causing my bogging out of my motor? i replaced them with the same until i order the next colder heat range..and drove it around and it seemed ok. but i jus want some of your opinions.

Sounds like something else. Spark plugs either going to make it run or not. Could be turbo related?

actually, you could/continue to be fouling the plug...that would make the car continue to run, but when the plug wouldn't spark correctly that piston wouldn't get any power, creating that bogged down feeling/almost stall. i had the same problem with my truck...all it took was a little better grade plugs.

yea, i'd say you were just fouling your old plugs...perhaps not gapped properly? give 'em a few more drives and pull those plugs again just to make sure they're doing alright

Just by that carbon buildup alone, you were definitely a shade hot. Were these copper plugs or iridium/other goofing sounding metal?

Those plugs are normal(where the lancer is concerned!!!!PAUL). You might want to look into your ignition system; because having gas on a spark plugs is not a good thing.
