Well... can't go wrong with NGK's, plat/irid/etc. All good, but wires...I don't see them necessary unless you've a bump'n sound system, or just going for that aftermarket look. Seen many Lancers with turbo with just OEM wires too. But...it's up to you. Good luck.

Supposedly it can help idle, but they're like grounding kits, some people say the work others say they don't.

Don't bother. Unless you need to upgrade your ignition due to need for increased spark or faulty wires or plugs you really aren't going to "get your money's worth". If you want to change your plugs it's not going to cost you much, so have a blast, but wires are really intended for those who need a better spark because of shortcomings in the ignition system or faulty/degraded stock wires.

How many miles are on your car? You do need to change the plugs periodically!

As for the wires - it's one of those "couldn't hurt, but you don't need to" mods. Unless you're not getting proper spark. Then, it's more of a "go for it" mod. But with a 2003, I doubt your wires are dying yet.

Well, they say that bigger wires can provide more spark for F/I cars, but of course there's no solid #s to back that up. It's just kinda like "we said so."

The only reasons I got Mangecors it was because the silicone coating withstands heat better than rubber coated wires, and I wanted the blue to match my engine bay. I haven't gotten to take the car out yet (surprise surprise), but just idling and revving I noticed zero difference.

Depends upon the diameter of the Magnecors. The 7mm are red, the 7.5 are blue, the 8mm are red. At least that's if I remember the measurements correctly. It's definitely red, blue, red.

All spark plug wires do for you is keep the spark output at an optimal rate longer than OEM plug wires. The is no performance gain, but less of a performance loss (if that makes sense) over time.
