ouch. it does suck that it drops lower than stock, but technically you still have more power gear after gear shifting at 6k. there has to be some kind of tuning to be done to bump this up more. i do like how the torque flattens out instead of dropping.

What about the A/F read out at the bottom. Isn't the car too lean between 5-6k? My guys told me they wanted to tune me to 13:1 a/F ratio. You are approaching 14 at that point.

What exact mods incl brand names do you have on your car. Give me a list so we can look at what you have done and see what is happening. There are many factors that can effect this including tuning etc but always happy to help and try to "Tweak" cars.

Ok I have custom SRI w/K&N cone filter, RRM test pipe, Custom Exhaust 2.25 inch pipes, RRM intake manifold and TB. 8MM plug wires, Bored fuel rail from Greenphsycho(I'm sure that's not spelt right),RPW stage 1 NA cam. I believe that's it for engine modifications. I"m going to install the RPW header on Monday hopefully if not then next week. I also have a SAFCII. I know my car seems to be running alittle lean on the topend. As soon as I install my header I'm going to go back and get tuned again though so I will have them correct that.
Timing should be set to stock which is 5 degree's +-3 I believe.

Any tuning/tweaking help would be great Mitsu. Oh ya I received that O2 nut thanks.

your afr's were way better the first run than in the second but that run is pretty crappy seeing you have a cam in there.

You should definately get that header in there... and downpipe right? RPW comes with both i believe? Anyway get that in there and then put a high flow cat in as the stocker is a big choker NA while straight pipe is to much flow.

If you can get the rpw cam gear as well. You may find that you'll have to advance it's timing about 2 degrees for the NA applications. Forced guys tend to retard it about 2-4 depending on boost levels.

Hope to see some better results though after you get some "tweeking" done.

Good luck.

Maybe one of these would help with your timing problems...

Picked one up...like I stated a while back. But, because of the accident, haven't had the time to install. Hopefully with additional tuning, you'll see better results soon.

I hope so. I'm going to get the O2 nut welded on tomarrow around 8AM and then install it as long as everything goes good with the 02 nut. Then I'll have to go tune my car and dyno it again next monday.

Hopefully everything goes well. We'll see what kind of numbers I throw down when I get the header installed.

Thanks for that great info Boe

Alright I got the O2 nut on and the header installed. Everything appears to be working out great so far. Except that I had the O2 nut welded on alittle low and now I can't get it to clip on the clip. Minor detail though. The downpipe seems to rub alittle bit when I hit about 2400RPM. I'll have to see if I can adjust that alittle bit so it doesn't rub. I did notice a difference in acceleration and sound. I'm going to go get another Dyno and tune on Either Sat the 11th or Monday the 13th. I'll post up the new dyno sheet when I get it. I'm only going to tune My A/F for now. I'm not going to mess with the timing until I see what the results are.

Good luck with that...can't wait to see some good hp/torque gains from the project.

Oh ya one other thing I removed the RRM test pipe and put my stock cat back on. Man I love the way my car sounds with the header and the cam installed. It sounds pretty deep and just rumbles at idle. It's nice. Another thing is that my idle with the cam before putting the header was alittle ruff now that that header is installed the idle seems to have smoothed out alot better.
I have a feeling that if I left that RRM test pipe on it would be unbarably loud. Right now it's just about right. The inside noise was reduced when I put the stock cat back on which is alway's good. It's awsome I can hear the noise coming from the front of my car and exiting the rear. I can tell a difference in performance now that i've driven the car alittle more. I can't wait to see my TQ numbers. We'll find out on Sat.

you should just sell the test pipe and get the high flow cat... that's the best of both worlds. It's not loud but it flows freely to release more power.

My feelings exactly. Killing the world more slowly and reducing the smell are nice options too. That and you won't have to fear lighting a flame near your car. (or maybe that's just me)
