does anyone know if a 4g63 MAS work from a 95-99 eclipse? i found one on ebay for like 7 bucks

 

Sorry to jump in but does your idle "hunt" as in jump around at idle(give or take 100 rpm) or is it staying around 600 rpm. I would think an idle at 1k rpm would be more of a problem...

 

it is inconsistent. it bounces a bit. she sounds sick

 

^ maybe a vaccum leak or the dent in the comb material. I had a similar problem and resetting the ecu via battery fixed the problem. But you already did that..hmmm....I hope you can figure it out!

pretty sure that the voltage is different that the eclipse comp sends the mas. (higher)

 

It works for me, cuz I have a 97 Mirage, but seriously, no it wont work for the Lancer. Your MAS plug is too small and wont fit into the DSM MAS connector. Even if it did, you would need some sort of piggyback to add a little mroe fuel to prevent throwin a CEL from running too lean.

 

yup. if you want a similar option, grab an evo MAS. same plug.

 

if you do need a new mas, i believe that one from a 4g93, mirage, will work. i was looking closer to my idle yesterday, and it is around 650-700, so unless your rpms move a lot at idle, i think you will be fine.

 

You have an intake huh? Those tend to do that to your idle on Lancers. It messes with the vortices going thru the MAS.
