What would be good supporting mods? I've also wondered this and I have header, bored IM, bored fuel rail, custom exhaust. I'll be adding a larger TB and FPR as well.

The Evo pump is more comparable to the Walbro 190. And both the Evo's and the 190 are quieter than the 255 as well. Both should be good enough for any N/A mods, and modest turbos. The 255 is overkill unless you're going 250+whp.

why does the rrm stg 2 come with a 255 HP then. remember it is better to have too much fuel then not enough.

by modest turbo's u mean how much psi?

always plan ahead, if u r planning more than 4-6 psi, eventually ur gonna need a bigger pump

The 255's are LOUD. Constant whine in key-on and while running (though you really only hear it while idling). On the down side it may be overkill, but on the plus side you won't be needing to upgrade again. What's the difference in cost? The 255's are around $100 shipped. At that price I didn't wanna bother getting less.

When I said the Evo's was comparable to the 190, I meant almost identical.

I would assume the RRM kit uses the 255 pump to simplify the kit. With that much flow injector upgrading could be postponed. Or, simply because most people, namely DSM's (RRE's heritage), just skip right over the 190.

Fuel delivery is a concert with the injectors, FPR, and pump the instruments. You can exploit one instrument or the other to arrive at the same number of ticket sales.

Till the tuba fails and bursts into flames because it's not rated for high pressure.
