Firewall-Pain in the **** or Easy?
I am looking to install my new stereo and it involves going through the firewall. How hard is it to get through or is there caps there to pop out like many veichles? I just picked up the new Alpine 7873 deck, 2 Infinity 12" subs, 1600 watt amp and now I have new speakers coming. Think I should just bring it down to a sound expert? And do you think I will need a battery capacitor for this system?

I installed my deck a while back with a system. Getting through the firewall is pretty easy its pretty much like every other Vehicle out there, there is alot of room to work with. A cap is always better for your battery and lights, Without a cap your Headlights will flicker every time the bass is hitting.. also make sure you have your wiring harness unless you want to cut your factory wires.
