Help! Whats the technique to remove bottom left exhaust mani bolt?

Got all the bolts off the stock exhaust manifold but the space is too small to fit a wrench into (and actually turn it) and the front is blocked so you can't get a wratchet on it. It's the 14mm bottom bolt on the left. What trick did any of you use to get it removed?

I and many others before you have had this problem. I started a thread on it and got several good answers which ultimately helped me get it off. Check it out here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=93533

i ground out the bracket in front of that bolt with a dremel.. now i can fit a socket on it .. but originally i used the rope trick tried and true.. but if you grind that bracket down in comes in handy if you have to take it off again..to upgrade of whatever

The factory service manual says you are supposed to remove the power steering pump bracket. A pain, but the way they do it at the dealer.

On Monday I used the open 14mm wrench w/ a rope tied to the other end pulling up through the middle gap on the exhaust mani. Worked SO WELL... best trick in the book. No more bending timing belt cover peice... !

The STealership does that so they can get an extra hr of labor (90$), cuz they arent as savy the evoM member that invented... the "rope" technique!
