thats b/c the RRM one is new... to find out what ppl think of it... you are going to have to wait for someone to write up a review.

aem. no doubt. the short ram will have bad heat soak issues and will bog BAD (had one on my lancer first). the aem worked great, sounded great (replaced my short ram). and i'm not a fan of rrm. i know the aem intake is made of lightweight aluminum, can't speak for the rrm. get the aem from www.adventon.com

oh, and next time, search first.

Exactly why not simply look at the thread comparing some 6 or so intakes, look at the thread concerning the RRM CAI and then make your decision from there? I don't know of many people that go through 3 different cold air intakes so realistically everyone is simply going to support the one they have.

points: with the cai setup u don't need to cut a hole in ur hood to feed cold air to ur intake. aem is a classic version, but rrms is supposed to be great to, rrm usually makes great quality stuff. so either way ur good.

make ur decision. mods lock this.

We don't like these kind of threads because they pollute and clog up evom. At least once a day a "what exhaust is best?" or "what intake should I get?" thread appears, and it basically destroys the whole search function, why have the function there if people don't use it? These threads are also simply retarded, no one can tell you which intake is best since no one has bothered to do a dyno with just an intake on. It's an intake, not a turbo kit, it all comes down to which one you think looks the best/has the best value. There are times on here when I've had to search pretty extensively for the answers I've wanted, but you know what, I've learned a hell of a lot more during those searches than I would if I simply posted a thread for every little question thats pops into my head. Its like when your at school, sure you could simply ask people the answers to all the questions on your homework, you'll probably get a good mark as well, but do you actually learn anything? Of course, you learn far better by actually doing the questions and the readings yourself.

I just wanted to know if anyone had any constructive comparisons, from either themselves or people they knew. I did look at other threads which didn't provide that information. I understand it's up to the reader to piece together what they need to know, but I don't see what was so horrible about creating a thread with a poll asking which cai is better, in fact i don't see any thread that had such a poll anyway.

i have to admit, that was funny

amby, honestly theres just no point to this anymore is there?
