pros:

a) comes with downpipe
b) cheapest header available
c) decent gains in comparison to other more expensive options.

cons:
1) cant fit stock cover on it... (for those of us who dont want tickets)
2) downpipe hangs low on older version.
3) i think greenphychos actually fell off.
4) looks crappy, (finish)
5) shoddy worksmanship... some testimonials to it leeking and such. (specially downpipe.)
6) not compatible to rrm turbo and harder for other applications i assume.. cept sds wich it doesnt matter. u just need an aftermarket header period.

have fun, ive ridden in a car with it and it has decent gains.

I have had my Kamikaze for YEARS. You need a different gasket than the one they supply for the collector/downpipe. The copper one is garbage. Umm the finish is ****ty but I don't care, mine was black and now its rust and black. The downpipe hits on something underneath sometimes (I don't care, I can't remember what it hits on anymore I haven't looked in a looong time). Mine does it a lot with the stock wheels on VS the aftermarket. I think it is because the different and wider stance with the other rims or maybe its pure coincidence. Anyway thats about it. Its cheap and does the trick.

Yeah CEL comes on. Not sure if its from the header though, I have a CEL eliminator on the test pipe. I never had the code read because I dont care. Car runs like a dream and gets 34-35mpg. My header is with a RRM testpipe and a greddy catback. It rumbles pretty good without sounding too ricey. I have set off alarm warnings in parking garages but never the alarm itself. Low buzzy rumble. I never thought it got any faster til I started fooling with removing fuel. The stock fuel map will make it pop and your bumper will have a lot of soot on it.

1. Is there any header out there that lets you fit your stock cover? Not really a con then
2. Downpipe is lower than first version because the first version was banging against the car.
3. Had mine for over 2 years... never fell.
4. You're right
5. Leaks are mostly at the joints. People tight the bolts like pu$$y and they wonder why the joint is leaking
6. There is not a single header that is compatible with RRM's turbo except their own. Not a con.

man you guys scare me there is like 3 people on this thread that said there header fell off that is the funniest crap i have ever heard .. dont blame that on the header .. blame that on the sucker turnin the wrench..
anyway i had a kamikaze header on my car for a while and other than having to clean up there sloppiness on the flanges with a grinder and get different bolts . mine never leaked or fell off.. for the money it is worth it , but like others have said you may have to get a different one someday depending on how much / and what you are going to do the engine.

Having to redo work on the header to get it to work right isn't worth it imo. get the RRM one and you won't have to worry about leaks/crappy looking finish/pieces of it falling off. you pay for a finished bolt on product so u shoould get that from the start with out any extra work.

RPW has the mac daddy header. Longer runners are tuned to keep torque while giving strong top end. It "replaces" the DP because the longer runners don't meet until they've turned under the car.

But it's the most expensive of the options.
