im going to japan in less than a week and im planning to get a short ram intake there. they probably won't be selling intkaes specifically for the US Lancer, so what do i need to know? do i need to know the diameter of the piping and such? or should i just buy a lancer specific intake in the US?

the reason i want one from japan is because i have yen to spend.. that's all. im saving up US cash for some audio stuff. so if anyone can help me, that'll be great. thanks!

In Japan they have the lancer "cedia". Thats a good place to start.

 

2g eclipses have the same mas adapter as the lancer, different piping though

 

would a Cedia SRI fit with the US Lancer? anyone else have any info?

EDIT: i remember someone had an HKS intake..i can't remember who it was though..can that person speake up? thanks

 

The USDM Lancer and the JDM Lancer Cedia are running on two different engines...

USDM: 4G94 2.0 SOHC
JDM: 4G93 1.8 DOHC GDI

and remember, they're not the same animal given the GDI technology is not available in the US. Therefore, I can't give you a sure shot answer of Yes or No
