Exhaust opinion

Hey all. Just want to sample opinion. I am planning on getting the RPW headers and the Greddy cat back. I know the diameter of those two are about 2 1/2 inch each, but I was wondering if getting RRM's test pipe ( 2 1/4 inch ) would reduce the performance any.

Thought I'd ask.

You'll loose some low end power if you have free flowing exhaust (no restrictions) but thats about it....the test pipe being a different size shouldn't matter.

they have a 2.5" testpipe but the only down thing i see is a lack of a O2 sensor adapter...oh well just another option for you

Whoa, this is a whole new world for me. My 2.2 Cavalier loves the 2.25 mendrell pipes with dual exhaust but the lancer hates it.

I'm doing the same setup but without switching my cat. I think it will sound and perform better with the stock cat on but your car, your money. If you absolutly have to get rid of your cat then I suggest getting RPW's high flow cat. just my $0.02. Good luck.
