has anyone tried GCA true flow intkake?

Has anyone in here heard of GCA true flow intake? i just had import tuners latest issue(the one with chris musngi's supra). and inside the mag was a stock rsx type-s dynoed to have 169.3 hp and after installing this intake(GCA true flow) it resluted to a whopping 178.1hp.... that's an 8.8hp gain!!! and then i compared it to other intakes which gave me these:

d.c. intake: +2.2hp
hp racing: +2.0hp
a'pexi: +2.2hp
aem: +2.7hp
injen: +7.9hp
GCA: +8.8hp

that's why im so curious if anyone has ever tried installing GCA before.... or if anyone in here has heard of this intake?
you can find their site at this link:

http://www.gcaindustries.com/

and the magazines i found these result from are
import tuner(issues 46-49)

let me put it this way.. if all intakes, say short ram, have the same hp gain then what's the point of competing with other brands? different intakes are differently enginered to best suck air and thus produce the biggest hp gain

To make money. Even if it's only with looks and inflated numbers.

I do honestly believe there are differences in performance from intake to intake, but I don't believe they're very large.

the 7.9 hp gain for injen, is that for the short ram intake or the race division intake.

well, i actually don't know what exactly it will be in our lancers but import tuner (a car mag) made this article called 'intake test' and tested different intakes both short ram and cold air, of known intake manufacturers. they've submitted their products and has been tested on an acura rsx and according to their dyno results(on an rsx), injen cold air is capable of producing 19-20 hp's, while their short rams are capable of 7-9.... well, im positively 99.99% sure bout this but just to make sure go to www.importtuner.com
but you can also find it in the latest import tuner mag.
