Any ideas for a catback for 04-05 lancers?

I havn't seen a single aftermarket catback system for the 04 and newer US models, and from doing all the lurking/searching, i've seen that some people have made custom catbacks. I'm wondering, if I were to buy a catback system for an 02-03 lancer, what problems (if any) would I run into. I know that there is a difference in axle length between the 02/03 and 04/newer models, but I don't know if the difference is big enough to cause the exhaust to perform less efficiently if i were to purchase the 02/03 catback. thanks in advance.

I think the risk would be having an exhaust that's too short and would potentially damage the bumper.

I have a Magnaflow catback and it seemed to clear the bumper on my 04 ES. The OZ and the RA have a lip on the back so is that why it wouldn't? I am not sure if the Maganflow exhaust was made for the 02-03 or 04+ I just said I wanted the Magnaflow catback for my Lancer and it was an 04 and this is what I got. If I was to do this all over again I would consider just buying a muffler and a resonator and doing a custom exhaust. This exhaust is going to get extremely loud once I get headers, and I am worried that it may sound ricey. I heard the Greddy catback is not as loud, so that would be something to consider. As of right now I love the tone of my exhaust, but I'm just worried about the future hahaha.

b-sr, is that RRM's Mangnaflow catback? doesn't look bad at all...RRM's site says theirs has a 3.5in tip...for some reason your exhaust tip looks smaller though

Mine definately does not look like a 3.5in tip. It looks more like a 3in tip, but maybe it just looks smaller because of the way the tip is rounded in? I did not get mine from RRM, so I am not too sure about that.
