engine temp gauge?

engine temp gauge?

does the engine temp gauge in the lancer really work or read accurate bec. i dont think it read the temp accurate does anyone know if it works or not?

I am sure it does but mine only goes up about halfway and never any higher. even when driving hard on a hot day.

Well, when my car is cold the gauge says it's cold. When my car is semi-warm the gauge says so. When my car is warmed up the gauge says so. Soooo, I'm gonna go ahead and say YES

i believe the temp gauge in ouor clusters reads the temperature from the coolant coming out of the engine. Not the "actual" engine temp. So it might be a bit lower than it actually is.
