I don't think anyone has ever truly maxed out the lancer. With stage 1 I think you can run like 8 PSI or somewhere around there.

Yeah, no one has really came on here saying with my upgraded internals I cracked a sleeve or anything; just really hasn't happened (yet)... Many a case though about throwing a rod due to nitrous though... I'd guess right now their are a few lancers near the 300whp mark (correct me if someone has gone over!).

The block is very sturdy... everything else is not.

RRM has gone over... Turbo_tech has gone over... a lot of PR guys have gone over.

On stock motor highest boost i've seen is 13 psi. 14-15psi snapped the stock rods. On a build motor i've seen 20+ and still have yet to hear any bad news about the block.

Anyone care to comment about his inquiry? Any Stage 2 auto Lancers out there and how much whp & psi is it holding? I knew there's got to be a couple around...

There's a guy named Rabbit??(something) putting down about 250whp and 260wtq on the Auto. He's posted a few times about it. He's been boosing 13 psi on his car but he has rods and pistons.

Its not the amount of power that determines the max for your engine but more so how you get there.

Ex. If you spray your car on stock internals you might be able to get a safe 5-10 hp (but its risky)

If you turbo it using RRM's Kits you can get about 225-250

If you do internials and a lot of custom work I dont see why the block couldnt handle well over 350hp.

Everything comes down to how big your wallet it and how badly you want power.
