Need 10 hp plzz!!

hi everbody i own 2004 lancer glx 4g13 manual
i wanna boost my car about 10hp by some effective mods and thats would saticify me comparing to other 1.6 cars , as an example in a drag with hyundai elantra 1.6 , kia spectra 1.6 ,chevorlet optra 1.6 ...there is no a marked difference you know just around 2 or 3 meters ... so thats why i am trying to pump out some hp from the block.... i wanna suggestions on a true 10 hp boost....thanx

your best bet would probably be going with an intake header and exhaust but it all depends on how much $$ your looking to spend

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
4 into 1 header, no cat, catback and do an intake, that should get you about 10 hp.

what are you looking to spend????? I would go with the intake header and exhaust if you have the funds but if you had to choose 2 out of the 3 I would say header and exhaust

YOU"VE GOTTA PAY TO PLAY

Buy A bit Of NOS. maybe jet for 35 horse. very safe, reliable. on demand when you want it. Jeez 10 horse, pulley, yank the muffler, you probably dont need a full exhaust, geta muffler shop to cut you a pipe for 75 bucks. it wont be too load and you will get close.
