Exhaust?!!?
well i dont want it too look like an evo. i just dont see your logic in thinking that something on an evo cant look good on a lancer OZ,. they are almost identical in appearance.
2nd i hate ricer cars, crap cars with gay looking vinyl designs, massive rims, and loud crappy sounding mufflers that scrape the road cos the car is so low.
All im trying to point out is that on a stock car a full cat back isnt worth the money (from what ive seen), unless you have a turbo.
The stock muffler looks turd, even with a tip on, its still average.
A nice looking muffler i think is a vast improvement, because it looks nicer, im not talking a rediculous 4" tip. im saying 2 to 3 at a push. And the sound really isnt bad, just google ebay mufflers and you will find out that people who have actually bought them say,. they dont sound ricey. You gotta be slightly smart, obviously an $8 muffler is crap. but maybe that $50 one isnt so bad, obviously its not a cat back, and the sound of performance is not going to be nearly the same as a cat back.....
but for those of us who cant afford a cat back, a nice looking muffler is the next best thing.
i just dont think you should start bashing on something you have never bought, just because you think Cat backs are the only thing to buy. On a low budget, and you want to improve the look of a car (not performance) and maybe the sound. a half decent muffler is a nice choice.
Im just giving my personal opinon, and trying to help out the guy who originally posted this thread, and asked people not to start bashing mufflers. All he wants is your opinion on which one of the three he should get. Not 70 people telling him to get a cat back.....he already knows that. He, like me, most likely doesnt have the money, and doesnt see the need for one.

The Evo and OZ look nothing alike =O
Different headlights, taillights, body trim.
If you wanted a car that looked like the higher end fast model, should of bought a SRT-Design
ok, my bad. the front end of the evo looks slightly different. Its not exactly like the're too different. Im not comparing it to a ford focus or something. You get my drift though, they arent exactly dis-similar, so how can something look good on the evo and not on the lancer?
instead of being a smart **** and nit-picking at what i say, why dont you try coming up with a resonable logical response to what im saying like everyone else is?
(btw, the car i got was the only decent lancer in the area, even the mitsu dealership didnt have any, so its not like i was spoilt for choice)

You might as well be comparing a lancer to a ford focus considering just how different they are from an evo. Again, an evo is a larger car, has different lines and as such, different things look good on the different cars.
