sounds good

i have the magnaflow exhaust on my car and ive had it for about 3 months, sounds good, not too loud or quiet, and releases the backpressure which is a major plus, noticible but not huge increase in performance. I got mine for $100 with custom piping from magnaflow but mine was kindof a prototype for magnaflow.

I got a magnaflow with a custom catback the other day. It looks and sounds great. Not a whiny weed-wacker or space shuttle lift-off, but a deep rumble that turns into a low roar with acceleration. There's a ton of tips to choose from. I got the dome tip which fits perfectly in the cutout. There's a pop when you start the ignition and it resonates real nice. I suggest getting the cat-back too, but be prepared to wait a while cuz bending the pipe can be a real time consumer, but it's really worth it.

magnachoke?

I also got a Magnaflow - race series... don't remember the part number... but I was wondering if anyone took a look at theirs before it was installed cause even though it is a straight-through design the center is smaller than the pipe. What purpose does this hold, and do you think it can cause too much back pressure?
