Anyone have experience with the magnaflow 16659 catback? Looking for opinions on sound and fitment.

Already tried that, apart from vendors selling them, no one seems to have bought it.

 

I have it. Nothing special man, I had the catback with the hfc and it droned like a **** on the highway. Now I have the test pipe on that came with it. If I were to do it again, I would have gotten a vband tbe. There is NO difference in sound between a stock downpipe and a 3 inch dp if you have this kit, so save yourself the time and money and just go with a nice vband tbe (Buschur, ams, etc). It may look pricey, but it's totally worth it. I had to have my magnaflow welded together. Pm me with other questions.

 

I have a custom catback with a Magnaflow muffler and it does not drone at all. This is with a straight midpipe. here's a shot from the rear.
