phenolic spacers?

So, heres my question. Is there any point to putting phenolic spacers on a non-modified engine or is the kind of supporting mod that goes better with an engine thats had other modifications done to it?

It won't make power, it's a supporting mod that you really won't notice but it's nice to have if you're going for the fastest engine humanly possible.

Lol, thanks for the input. I wasn't sure if it would make power but I figured I'd ask. Since my engine is still super stock lethargic, I think I'll put that on hold till I get some boost.
