its fidanza and its all good and cheap. that doesnt do much without a camshaft. but you can still get it. the rrm crank pulley doesnt add horsepower but frees some up so the car revs faster. both dont cost much though so go ahead.

This is one of those "if they sell it, it must make me go faster!" mods that ricers buy off eBay (no offense to you, just speaking in general).

You'd be better off using the money for something else. Cam gears are pretty far along on the "tuning tree" of mods. Until you get things like header/downpipe/IM/TB/etc to finish off the breathing mods, you probably don't need to screw with the timing.

Well, OK, let me change my answer then.

If you're going to buy it and have it sitting around until you install all your turbo/cam/etc parts, then go for it. It'll be another piece of the puzzle.

If you're going to buy it and install it on your mostly-stock setup, then don't waste the money.

That's a better answer.

I had the Fidanza gear (in red) in hopes of getting the RPW cam. But things fell through and my wish didn't come true. Sold the gear to another member on here. But as long as you are going N/A with a cam upgrade or going F/I you just might like having it.

Doubt it. Cam gear really doesn't do too much of anything. Generally, unless Rob thinks it'll make a difference, they don't bother (see also topic: downpipe)...

yeah, really an aftermarket gear is only to advance or retard timing. other than that, they dont do anything.

isn't the cam gears lighter than stock? you can save some weight, not much but its a start.
