Ok that EXACT same gun you listed runs a n2 tank. And in this case the gas is a nitrogen . Straight outa the thesaurus - ( Nitrogen is a colorless, odorless, tasteless diatomic gas. It does not burn, does not support combustion, and is only slightly soluble in water.) Im not trying to be an ******* but I dont want anyone thinking this is going to work. The companys use these to displace gas and keep steady pressure inside the tank. if it were just compressed with air it would "loose" power as the psi drops. Just about the only gas you can injest into a motor is Nitrous Oxide, Yes a "form" of laughing gas, but even your local dentists laughing gas is different from the gas we use for automobile applications.

School's out

nah, nobody runs n2 its too expensive, is all compressed air, 4500 psi in the tank, regulated down to 700-900 ... down to the hpr which holds air and regulates from 100-300 then to the lpr which takes it down to about 50 depending on how fast you want it to cycle... it has plenty of air at all times and a very fast recharge rate

its just air

but yes, all it would do is boost your compression ratio by .001 or something, i dunno why we are still discussing this

not like this is ever gonna work anyway
If you are talking about Paintball... Air is nothing like C02... C02 is a liquid and comes out freezing cold and is also dirty as hell... compressed air in the tanks does not. That’s why when they fill up your 4500 PSI tanks it is hot and when it cools it loses pressure. I shoot a featherlight Viking for Fracture here in Oregon. The air is never cold... and pushing fan temp air into your intake is not going to have much of an effect... might as well get a hood duct.

helium is not flammable--hydrogen is. the hindenburg was filled with hydrogen. i can imagine you car would go boom real quick if you injected hydrogen into the engine.

well, the air is colder than your engine

Without extra accessories it's designed to cool the intake air. Anyway, this is another case of theory not translating well into functionality.
