Dyno Test

I am looking to recieve the bulk of what I ordered on thursday and should have it all installed by Saturday. That makes next week a good time for dyno testing. I will post the results soon enough. I will be installing everything myself with the help of a couple friends with varried knowledge. I can't wait!

ask zlancer about this kit before you install...I do think you'll need that fuel pump and injectors though.

They're handy to hvae if you plan on running higher boost levels. The stock fuel system can handle single digit PSI, but it requires a bit of a high duty cycle on the injectors.

Also with high PSI you'll want forged pistons and rods to be safe.

Anyone have a cost estimate on forged pistons and rods? Where would you rate the importance of this upgrade on a scale of 1-10?
I want to cover everything to maintain reliability AND consistency.
Thanks.

Can anyone recommend a quality performance shop in or around Philadelphia? A long shot but thought that I would ask.

YES finally another RPW turbo kit!!! wooooooo! hehe i'm excited lol. good buy...ok.....yes i would really recommend getting a 2 gen eclipse fuel pump...the walbro 255 l/hr. it fits with a little elbow grease. that kit's wastegate should be set to 7 psi i believe. get a boost guage also to make sure. your list already includes injectors and i'm guessing they are the orange 300 cc ones. also your going to need IC piping...make sure you do a good job with the piping...all smooth bends. everything else will fit great. just don't mess up when you tap the oil pan for the oil return line fitting. you might have to weld it. make sure you have all the gaskets before you start!!!. i believe your going to have to weld the oil return line piece to the flange that connects onto the bottom of the turbo. umm....i dunno anything else just PM me....

oh yeah.....you don't need forged rods and pistons yet...search for when you will....um...crower will custom make the rods for $711...but you need the specs which nobody seems to have...i don't kno why...your going to maybe have to buy 1 stock rod if they will sell you just 1 and ship it to crower. you can just buy the RRM pistons i guess...or get the specs and get them from Ross Racing ($400-$500) or someother piston place.

Good to hear of another lancer out there with our kit coming up. For the record guy's if you read his origonal listing it states modified stock injectors, which means we have high flowed the stock injectors so that they are a higher CC rating hence no need to get any larger injectors as they already come with the kit.

Yeah, I think I'm equally as excited about a true RPW Lancer kit (since Andy's was sorta like the prototype) being done. Can't wait to hear the results.

Can we get photos / explaination of what your doing at each step of the install ? Would be a great resource to have online for all the other lancer owners.
