ive heard of some people having it, all they say is smoother idle, which a camshaft cannot increase performance so dont plan on gaining anything... but it will help if your going turbo

wait, your saying you "dont" get gains from a camshaft. that i've never heard. i understand that with just bolt ons the gains wont be incredible or anything but there is difference after the cam. especially with mods.

no a camshaft wont help you unless your going turbo performance wise, and yes its smoother, all it does is push the rocker arms up and down :P

Not true. A camshaft will give you a rougher idle and RRM designed their camshaft so that you can see gains whether you are Naturally Aspirated, Turbo, or Nitrous. Their camshaft will definately be an improvement over stock, it's just not as purpose-targed as RPW's (different cam for n/a and turbo.)

A camshaft, if designed properly, will give power. RRM's cam is just set up very mildly to accommodate everyone (turbo and NA) so the power gains aren't as substantial as say RPW that has several stages and different profiles for turbo and NA people.

No, not really. It increases performance but when they only have 1 camshaft for every application, the gains aren't huge.

Exactly amby, it will give power but not a lot since it's a very mild cam. It will give power over stock though.
