Camshaft ADDS power, makes the idle lumpy.

rpw one is for serious builder...i installed one
the idle is really lumpy...need proper tuning to go with that upgrade

Depends what stage cam, what supporting mods, what kind of tuning capability, where do you want the power, is it for a street car or race car, etc..

That's the problem, relying on honda drivers to tell you about cars. Let me guess, the same people said that nitrous was safe, intake and exhaust was good for 10 hp and running no cats is a good idea?

Well obviously the stage 3 or 4 cam would give you the best gains but you'd also have to deal with a horrible idle (ie. stalling at every opportunity) and no power under 4000 RPM. Cams aren't as simple as just "x cam gives x amount of power", the most important part is the tune.

yeah if your goin any bigger than stage 1 you'll need adjustable cam gear and a tune to make it work. even at that a camshaft is all about balance. you gotta give some low end torque to get big top end power. you should go to rpw's site and read.
