A2 Design Return Fuel Conversion

Is this worth the 04+ to do this for a turbo? what are the plus for this,i really don't feel like doing this unless it's really necessary for me to do this concersion for a turbo.

Only RRM made a turbo kit that would work with 04+ Lancers. I think they used a digital FMU or something so if you don't want to go with their kit, get the conversion and buy some other kit made for 02-03 Lancers.

To avoid lawsuites, check with a2design how their conversion setup works and then figure out with Rock or someone else if you could adopt it to use it with turbo kits for 02-03 Lancers.

I only raised an opinion.

well if you want the non intercooled kit, go ahead, I believe rock told me that was a direct fit for any year. But yes, the conversion will allow you to use any turbo kit because the only difference is the fuel system. It also allows you to install a FPR and upgrade the fuel system more than the returnless system. Heres from the website: On your stock lancer, you have what is called a "returnless" Fuel system in which is untunable and bad for high performance engines!

And what do you know, he now sells a standalone system now.

Trust me..on your car NEVER GO CHEAP. You can cheap out on some stuff but cheaping out on your car is kindy risky. I went cheap on somebody putting on my body kit and paint it and f'ed it up... They put self tapping screws into all of the pieces...Full kit and spoiler and every single piece is cracked. I then payed a crap load of money the right way for somebody to do it and it looked nice until the cracks came back..makes me sick wasting all of that money i could have bought the rrm stage 1 and been much much happier. But w/e i learned my lesson

It takes longer to save up $4,000 - yes, that's true. But $2,500 doesn't look as cheap when you're buying a replacement motor.

Something to remember... never go into a custom turbo build without thinking to yourself "this motor WILL blow up." That way you're prepared if it does and happy everyday that it doesn't.

We can do a non IC version for the 04-06s now. Just a couple adjustments. Serious guys should just call and ask for ROB. Fuel return is not needed!
