Bah. Underdriven pulleys are s***. Waste of time - you screw up your car's function to gain half a horsepower...

You drive a lightweight econobox with a weak motor. An underdriven pulley won't do what you're hoping.

Well I must admit I have always been a little skeptical of them, but since we have started using htem ourselves, have been very impressed with them. RPW now has our own kits with belts available, listed on our website and everyone who has fitted them has reported back great results with noticeable driving gains. Butt dyno they may be, but people are happy with them.

They are not expesnive, easy to fit so does no harm to have them.

DJ, there is actually a noticable difference in power when switching from the lightweight pulley to a underdrive pulley. only SMALL change in the cars normal functions that i have encountered (i've had the Unorthodox UDP on the car for over 10k now) are at low idle the AC and power steering is a little weaker than with the stock and/or lightweight pulley...this is obviously expected though; however this is just my 2 cents.

mark

EDIT: read up about UDP's before you buy them. throughout the research i did prior to fitting the UDP i found that many tuners spoke of premature wear on rod bearings etc....however, i am no professional so i can't personaly vouch for this claim...i just love my pulley
