s-afc on US Lancer

Does the S-AFC work well in our cars? I was just told that b/c our car is an OBD2 it will not work right and that I will have to reset my ECU about every 2 weeks. I dont know, I'm so and that I can't even concentrate right now. I am planning on getting the RPW stage 2 cam & gear and also their headers. I believe that they recommend a S-AFC but I ain't too sure. Will someone please help me out with this. ZLancer, Uranium9v? Any info would really, really be appreciated right now.
Thanks

Maybe if you posted US Lancer questions in the US Lancer forum. Or better yet if you looked around and read the existing threads on people with AFC's in their cars.

The claim about resetting your ECU is bull****. There are several people running AFC setups on their Lancers.

Usually you wait more than 19 minutes before pestering people to reply too.

I've had no problem with the SAFC and you don't have to reset your ecu at all. I heard rumors about the SAFC not recognizing positive adjustments, but Mine seems to work fine. PM me if you have any questions.....

U9V, I take it you mean AFTER you install you don't need to reset, right? Soldering/wiring with the negative terminal attached = bad idea. Aside from the reset when wiring though....should be no need for resets.

(Just to clarify and possible confusion.)
