RMR parts,lol

OK, you guys are gonna love this. I finally was able to get the RMR parts I wanted, the intake and strut tower brace, and I had to call all the way to California! (I live in Chicago, no midwest dealer has even heard of the stuff). So get this, the guy tells me that the intake will void the warranty. I thought the whole point of the RMR stuff being sold by dealerships was to avoid the voiding of the warranty. I got the parts anyhow, but I do not understand why an air intake would be and bit of a big deal. Oh well, and if ya guys were wondering why I didnt get the exhaust, well, lets just say I dont need a new exhaust for 550 bucks. My next purchase will be Eibach springs and some rims with new rubber. Anyone on suggestions for rims? LOL... Do they have to be OZ with that badge and the floor mats on my car? Wouldnt want too much rice. Thanks kids.

Rims don't need to be OZs. Lots of cool wheels out there. I am going to get some imitation VOLKS. As For the exhaust. Why not get ROAD/RACE one, Stainless, Nice. $280! I already ordered mine. Should have it next week!

The wheels don't "HAVE" to be O-Z but I think it will be kinda funny if its not (personal opinion) As for the exhaust the RMR is wicked expensive and the RRE is just a muffler; so either way your not in a good situation. You can just wait for RRE to finisht their cat back pipe then get that for about $300 which will allow for the little extra performance, but with just the muffler they have now, your looking at no extra hp at all, but it will sound better and look better than stock

RMR is not catback. So wicked expensive just for their muffler. Muffler alone has got to help though. If you see inside stock muffler, IT SUCKS. Thanks

I dont know where you are getting this "RMR exhaust is just a muffler" deal.

I have it. It is a full cat-back made of t-302 stainless steel.... it will never rust.

A muffler can only do so much... the whole point of getting a full cat back is to enlarge the piping to reduce back pressure and release more horse power.

If you have a good perf. muffler and still running the stock pipe, you are not really doing much to free up air flow.

...one other thing...I dont think there is such a thing as a $500 street muffler... and if there was, who the hell would buy it?!?!?

It's not $500 bucks but it's close...

3108-EX001 ALL 170mm Shell HP Titanium 115 75 $427.00 <---It's an HKS model muffler...titanium...so pretty.

Sure I'd buy it, if I could afford it and the piping.
