Does the shorter belts with smaller and lighter pulley stop the squeaking belt syndrom? lol

It squeaks because it's either old, loose, too tight. New belts could fix your problem but yeah...a new pulley would be better

will replacing the pulley and cam gear both help a lot? any possible damage to the engine?

I have the cam gear and pulley on my car check out this thread
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=231001
I do not see any reason this would cause any problems. Its lighter thats about it so the engine will just spin up quicker. It helped me quit a bit.

If people are concerned about dimming of headlights, just go to circuit city or some place like it and buy 1 or 2 size bigger power and ground wires + 4 terminal connections on each wire ends + optional change battery terminals.

If people know how to put bigger speakers into their car, this is surely a simple task.

Keep in mind you own neither an Evo or a DSM. Completely different motor. For all its worth, I had a Revolutions Motorsports UDP on my Mirage aspirated for about 3 years and then turbocharged for about 1 1/2 years with no ill effects.

The pulley is finally installed. It took about 20 minutes. The belts fit perfectly, I guess except the long one. It could be a little bit longer but a little elbow grease and it fit.
