stock lancer es modification question

hey, i have a 2003 lancer es. all i've done to it so far is just put 17in rims on it for looks, but i want to get alittle more horse power. im thinkin about putting a cold air intake in and maybe a new exhaust. i want to get some horsepower without spending too much money. what are some basic upgrades where i would get the most bang for my buck? thanks

search the forums for this info. this has been covered 1 trillion times in different threads. Basically..... If you want bang for the buck save up and get a turbo.... Whats your price range? a intake and a exhaust might get you 5-6 hp on this car from stock. probably a lil less.............................................. ........................................... another thing you could do is get a piggyback ecu, although to get a lot out of it you need mods such as intake, exhaust.

This car makes right around 100 whp stock... the engine doesnt respond that well to mods so you need to do a lot to make a greatly noticable difference.
