i've heard lancers can only really take like a 20-30 shot of nitrous with stock internals. but i think thats with a dry fogger, you might be able to get more power with a diffrent type of injection.

Even with forged pistons, I wouldn't use Nitrous with that motor. Lots of horror picture on this site will prove it...
At least, if you don't want to change them often...
You better get a nice turbo kit and get boost all the time, don't have to refill bottle, etc!

As I remember from someone, internals are a problem but the biggest thing is the ECU, it will not compensate for a lean condition created by the nitrous, which in turn makes engine soup. Dont try it man, Im serious.

It should help, but even with that I wouldn't do it. Maybe with the help of a SAFC or something similar. But Nitro and Lancer motor is not 2 words that go well together.
I would use some turbo kit instead if I want speed. Much better performance in the long run and will prolly not kill the engine in 1 shot! Will kill it slowly
