So i finnally got my new pulley installed.
I didn't take any pics, but this is what i got:
http://www.bomzracing.com/index.asp?...ROD&ProdID=731
except that i bought it for around $20 on ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-01...spagenameZWDVW
this is from another thread, the red one is the same as mine (except mine is silver). Its a comparisson between Stock, RRM & Mirage 1.8 pulley

I bought the belts using these part numbers from comatose's thread
Drive Belt # 5050490-5PK1245
Alternator #5040285-4PK0725
With the cost of the belts & shipping on the pulley the final price was around $60
My friend helped me install it last night.
We were gonna change my timing belt too, but when we got to it, we had found the dealership i bought the car from had already did it (at 58k miles), so im probably good for another 40K miles or so.
Anyway, install wasn't to difficult. Take off the wheel, loosen/remove old belts, remove old pulley, put on new pulley, attach new belts. It took us around 4 hours, only because we spent most of our time sitting around talking, and taking apart the timing cover. If we had went ahead and just did the job, it would have taken about an hour.
After driving it for a while i've noticed a definite difference. Not as much as i expected, but it is still very nice. The car revs A LOT easier, and the car pulls harder. Acceleration has definitly improved. I noticed the time it takes to get from 40-60mph has dropped significantly.
I'm a very happy person now that i have all my mods i bought hooked up. I will be uploading pics of my car with the new wheels tonight, so keep an eye out.
My current mod list is:
• Bomz Underdrive Pulley
• NSC Engine Damper
• Custom SRI w/heatshield
• Coolant Bypass Mod
• Filled Front Motor Mount
• Enkei DM5s 17x7 +40 offset w/ Kumho Ecstas 215/40/17s
• Black Headlight Housing
• Black reflectors
• Debadged Trunk
• Red Interior Lighting
• Silver Gauge cluster, and other various interior parts
• Shorty Radio Antenna
On the way:
• NSC Trunk Bar
• Bored Fuel Rail (possibly)
also its my birthday in march, so we shall see what i get then also

yeh it actually did make a noticable difference. on a stock lancer when you first start up your car and drive it first thing in the morning, you will notice the throttle response is a little quicker and the car seems to have a little more power, but later on in the day the car goes back to being it's usual sluggish self.
Well after i did this, it seemed that the car stayed a little more in morning mode, the throttle was a bit better and the car felt quicker.
It's not a huge difference, the difference is just like driving your car first thing in the morning compared to later on in the day (esspecially in florida heat)
its not difficult and it is worth doing. although if you live in a place where the temp gets below zero don't do it. the reason for a heated TB is to prevent freezing inside of it.

The only problem I have with mine is that, well, the accessories are underpowered now
so the lights dim a little at stops and the heater doesn't blow as hard or as hot as it did before the swap. Very minor inconveniences, though.
Congrats on a successful install.

i have noticed any dimming so far. My ac/heater is slightly lower, but when i rev the engine up it blows harder i noticed, so while im driving its no big deal.
