But yeah, that is crazy, the sti driver must have sucked bad, or the lancer handling is amazing, cause those numbers are way different.

must've been either the "sti" was an impreza with sti emblem, or the lancer was actually the prototype X with gts bumper
haha but HELLA GOOD NEWS! i was not impressed by the gts when i went test driving, but hey, maybe a few mods or two could open it up

Rock said it was the same driver in the STI and the lancer!!! That pretty much tells you how bad *** the new lancer is.

I would not call the new Lancer badass but it does have potential. We built 3 exhaust before we were happy with the power and 2 swaybars. We had a short time to prepare it but we still managed to wake it up. Next will be piggyback. Hopefully we can have one on there next week.

I wasnt disn the 350z of course its a great car what i was saying was he wrecked his 350z and wanted to know more about the lancer GTS so I said forget the 350 its gone wrecked, over, done, and get a lancer. Please read the whole story before u jump down my throat.O and by the would I will put a lancer EVO up a againtst a 350 z any day of the week and a tuned up RA or soon to be GTS on the same war path. So comparing a lancer to a 350z yes i would say i would hehe

!!!!!!!!Not tryin to jump on anything man. Im sorry, emotions still hectic since the crash... im the one to blame, but some people might know how i feel. About the Z..... um Evo or modded RA VS stock Z > then you might have a chance. The Z is made for mods, and responds well to them so....
But ill give props to Mitsu, its made a name for itself especially the EVO. And i feel the RAs are greatly underestimated, but yet again the Z is a hell of a car...
you know hat though new day, and RRM is kicking *** and tempting me! I might have another chance to get a Z but if RRM could make the lancer serious enough a change in scenery wont be that bad i guess...?

I had just test driven the new Lancer yesterday in the ES trim. I have to say, I was surprised to see myself going 80 on the interstate where everyone goes 55-60 (Virginia Beach/Norfolk).
The feel of the car is stable, much like the evoM review said. The car was equipped with a CVT, and I have to say that that takes getting some used to.
But overall, like Rock said, the car has potential. It feels like it could be a serious competitor in terms of autox and maybe circuit driving.
The new Lancer is a vast improvement over the 2005 model which I own.
Keep up the good work RRM.

The Gymkhana event went Great!!
We ran our RRM Turbo RA. It set the fastest FWD time of the day! It ran great and truely surprised everybody. IT beat numerous AWDs and RWDers.
Our 2008 was the fastest FWD in the limited class. That was our goal.
Daijiro Yoshihara ROCKSTAR drift driver drove the RRM DE as did SUPER STREET's John Naderi. Both were really impressed. Mitsubishi had a stock GTS to drive against our DE. Our DE blew it away with minor mods. Daijiro talked on TV about it and gave it great praise. It was a a real bonus. SS had an STI and the RRM DE. Guess what our DE was only .2 sec slower that the STI!. That was with the same driver. What do you got to say about that huh? Pics tomorrow. We never Gymkhanaed but I think all of our racing experience paid off and we were a force to be feared in the future for Gymkhana!
