Right. Next day air is expensive. UPS is the source of that. I know you know what you mean. Others think regular shipping is $160. Regardless our shipping calculator is not calibrated well so we are constantly manually adjusting shipping either up or down once we input address and weights in our shipping software.

so Rock what would be your basic shipping price for the exhaust to Alberta, Canada? (I prefer Fedex to UPS, cause I think they have lower brokerage fees)

UPS is what we use. We do not have FEDEX account. We decalre 50% value for Canada guys to help offset the duties. That is the best we can do. Shipping prolly closer to $50 though. I don't do shipping so I don't know exact #.

So I called in at my local dealership today, and the parts manager told me they had the RRM exhaust in stock for $390. They also said it was an additional $100 for installation. This is because apparently the exhaust doesn't fit perfectly, and requires extra time to adjust the bracket mounts.

Now I was planning to install it myself, but can anyone confirm what he's talking about?!

Yeah thats what I figured. Its probably a quick job. But what exactly is the issue with the bracket mounts that he's talking about anyway?

If they follow directions, it fits fine. Install is a snap. Save money and order direct from us then.

Yes cause some people need it all spelled out for them. At the first opportunity, we did instructions. Most figure it out but it takes one mechanically challenged guy to make it sound goofed up. As for the dealer coment, they never told me about a problem and if they are making excuses to charge you $100 to install then maybe I will stop selling to them. What dealer was that?

It was Southside Mitsubishi, in Edmonton. I emailed Phil there, the parts manager. Could be an excuse to nab me out of $100, they have a reputation on gouging most customers so I wouldn't be surprised.

I was planning to install it myself anyway, as I can't imagine a simple bolton process is too complicated. He just quoted me the price for installation anyway.

i really want an exhaust system on my GTS but i dont want anything TOO loud or ricey....
is there anyway to get like an official sound clip from RRM so i know what to expect i can read and read what everybody says but i want to be sure my own ears like the sound before i buy it
