Okay lets get back on topic, hows everyone's lancer with the RRM Exhaust on??

 

My RRM exhaust is running great. I need to blast the rust off of it and paint the piping, but otherwise, it's awesome

 

Meantime, we are loving the response to the exhausts.

hey rock.. have u guys fixed the rust problem?? b/c imma most likely get this exhaust but dont like the fact that ppl's exhausts are rusting...

 

I like my exhaust performance. But mine rusted terribly after just 3 months (Oct. - Dec.) in the midwest. It was supposed to be stainless steel and is but not the piping. Just the can. What a huge pain it was to remove the rust. I didn't have a sandblaster. Masked the tip and painted it with 1200 degree black paint. God, I wish I had painted it first. The piping in front of the axle is really far to the right and touches the heat shield. I bent the heat shield back a little. Looks good now.

 

I think that CLR stuff might work, removing the rust, after that for those who have it still unpainted, you could apply an anti rust clear coat. I beleive that maybe effective

 

the newer V2 of the exhaust comes painted so it wont rust....
